Marginalia on page preceding The Fairy-Queen's title-page
This is marginalia written on the blank page preceding The Fairy-Queen's title-page. It was presumably written by an owner of the libretto and discusses the opera's text and composer.
Title-page of The Fairy-Queen
This is the title-page of the libretto, and it features two instances of marginalia that are of note. At the top, a presumed owner has written “Read May 6, 1706." Then, he or she adds that the writer of the opera was "Anonymous."
The Prologue and final page of the libretto
These two pages are the only ones to feature printed typographical braces within the book.
